We at Lost Colony have a family friendly atmosphere and ask our visitors to help maintain the appearance and tranquility of our property.  We want to help make your stay a safe and pleasurable one, therefore we ask you to observe the following.

VEHICLES & PARKING

·          Please drive slowly, 10 MPH

·          Absolutely no parking or driving on the grass. It will damage our irrigation system. Park in the garage or on the hard surface driveway of the unit where you are staying.

·          2 vehicle limit parking in driveway, extra vehicles park in parking lot. NO PARKING IN OTHER UNIT’S DRIVES.

·          No parking in the street.  Emergency vehicles must be able to access all units at all time’s day or night.

TRASH DISPOSAL

·          Please use plastic bags for trash and place them in the dumpster at the end of the drive behind the Lost Colony sign at the entrance. Place trash in the dumpster, not beside or on top of it.

·          Make sure dumpster doors are closed in order to keep animals out of it.

·          Take trash to dumpster daily or as bags are full.  DO NOT keep until the last day of checkout, the dumpster fills up and cannot accommodate the volume.  Keeping trash in garages will attract rodents to that unit.

·          At no time are trash bags to sit on the deck, drives, or outside of the unit where animals can get into it and strew it around.

FIRE HAZARDS

·          The fireplaces are ornamental; do not light fires in them.

·          Fireworks are prohibited on the beach and anywhere on the premises.

·          CORPUS CHRISTI FIRE CODE-BBQ grills are not to be used by guests renting units at LC on the decks. They must be used 10 feet from the structure in the driveway or grass. 

POOL

·          Lost Colony pool hours are 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

·          There is no lifeguard on duty, a phone is provided in the pool area for emergency use only.

·          All children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult, in the pool area.

·          Maximum depth of the pool is only 5 feet, NO DIVING allowed.

·          Please do not bring glass containers into the fenced pool area.

·          Absolutely no pets allow inside the fenced pool area.

DECKS

·          No towels, rugs, clothing, etc are to be hung from railings of decks.

·          Anchor lightweight items on the deck, so the wind doesn’t blow them off.

·          Please refrain from loud music or boisterous behavior when outside observing normal “quiet hours” of 10 pm to 7 am.

PETS

·          All pets must be on a leash when outside and you must pick up after your pet.

·          Pets cannot relieve themselves on the decks, they must be taken outside.

·          Pets may not be allowed to bark excessively.

·          Pets are not to be tied up outside for any reason.

DUNES & BEACH

·          Please use designated boardwalk to the beach.

·          DO NOT WALK THROUGH OR PLAY IN THE DUNES.

·          Glass containers are not allowed on the beach.

·          Watch out for rattlesnakes on the property and in the dunes.

·          Beware of coyotes in and around the dunes and property.
